Becoming a member of ConnectSwiss is one of the easiest ways of supporting us. 

STEP ONE :
Email info@connectswiss giving your name and postal address saying you wish to be a member. 

STEP TWO :
Pay your membership fee at this link or to UBS directly as per the bank details below.
Any person who shares the objectives of the organisation and pays the annual membership fee, is a regular member.

Benefits of ConnectSwiss membership
Becoming and remaining a ConnectSwiss member has its benefits. Members also want to be sure their membership fee and donations are money well-spent. The major benefit for ConnectSwiss members is belonging to a non-profit organisation which alleviates poverty for some of the poorest people in East Africa. As a member of ConnectSwiss you will be able to contribute to the development of new projects with your ideas, donations and/or sponsorship.
For example, members can contribute their expertise and ideas in the following areas
• Providing network support
• Writing funding proposals
• Helping ConnectSwiss accomplish its tasks
Other privileges, benefits and services of being a Regular Member are:
• Receiving publications
• Receiving the Quarterly Newsletter
• Having access to ConnectSwiss Annual Report and Accounts

Every franc/dollar/euro donated funds the humanitarian and educational programmes of ConnectSwiss. The annual membership fee enables ConnectSwiss to maintain its ongoing projects.

The ConnectSwiss Statutes and Mission Statement set the general framework for ConnectSwiss as "a Swiss NGO to promote the cause and to benefit disadvantaged people in Africa without distinction of sex, or political or religious persuasion, and working with local authorities, voluntary organisations, public and private organisations and individuals to :-

  • promote projects which relieve poverty
  • advance education, and schooling
  • improve access and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare 
  • provide documentation and assistance on health
  • help and support sick people where possible
  • help to improve the local infrastructure for the benefit of the community”.

Voting, Holding Office and Guiding the Work of ConnectSwiss
ConnectSwiss is a membership organisation. The members guide the work of the Association and identify ways in which the organisation can best serve its objectives. Members provide a vital role in formulating the direction and work of ConnectSwiss through voting and holding office in the Association. Members have the right to vote for officers of the organisation and to hold office. All members have the right to propose and vote for Declarations to guide the work of the Board and to advance the goals of the organisation.
